Pride Parade.

I sat down with my grandma one night to talk about books and life, She told me that when she was young, She remembered a time when she could go to jail for marrying someone white.

I don’t know much about politics Except for what I see in the news but I have a hard time trying to understand such blatantly blind hate over people who are in love.

And here I am at 26, and I am excited the day When I can say I was alive during such a pivotal time And I fought a really good fight  to make sure everyone I knew had The same inalienable rights.

It has been a long term goal of ours once we get to shoot a gay wedding. (if your gay and getting married give us a call! :-)  ) to get an F/stop float in the pride parade. I say this for a few reasons 1.  Because one day we will look like abolitionist shooting gay weddings before it was legal and two because pride parade is the most fun of all the parades! It’s so colorful and these massive groups of people are friendly and offering hugs, prayer, and support. It is so wonderful to be able to see such an insane amount of beautiful people all rallying together in celebration of love, diversity, tolerance, and having a good time. I get so much joy shooting it every year that I look forward to it all year long. Here are some of the photos I took at this year’s Pride Parade.
